Custom Train Wraps in Atlanta
Max Graphics brings large-format wrap experience to commuter rail. A custom train wrap turns a passenger car into a moving campaign that travels the same route thousands of riders take every day, and more importantly, enhances safety for passengers through visual cues. We recently wrapped commuter trains right here in metro Atlanta, handling both the branding and the safety colors on the same cars.
Train Wraps for Commuter and Transit Rail
Passenger rail surfaces are long, ribbed, riveted, and rarely flat, so each train wrap is measured and paneled to the specific car it will live on. We produce rail graphics for commuter trains, passenger cars, and light rail vehicles, and we adjust our material and seam strategy to match the surface in front of us. Door gaps, window bands, and grab rails all change how a panel gets cut, and none of that shows up on a drawing until someone walks the car.
Safety Colors and Train Graphics on the Same Car
Transit vehicles like commuter trains have safety requirements when it comes to wraps and graphics on the windows, doors, and sides. Door edges, thresholds, and hazard zones carry mandated safety colors, and those markings have to stay accurate and visible after the branding goes on around them.
Max Graphics handles both in one pass, so the artwork and the safety markings are planned together.
What Goes Into a Train Wrap
Every train wrap project starts with a survey of the commuter car and a review of the operator’s requirements, because no two systems spec things quite the same way. Our team handles the artwork at scale, prints on heavy-duty, weather-rated vinyl, withstands wash cycles and daily service, and hand-fits each panel around hardware. A full train wrap can cover an entire car side, and partial rail graphics work well for door panels, end caps, and route branding.
